Welcome to PetPals! These Terms of Service govern your access and use of the PetPals website and puppy adoption portal.
By creating an account or submitting an adoption application form, you agree to follow these terms. If you disagree with any part, please do not use our services.
1. Account Security & Verification
When you register on PetPals, you must provide true and complete details. You represent that you are at least 18 years old and fully authorized to care for a pet in your local area.
2. Adoption Application Requirements
PetPals may deny, cancel, or suspend any adoption inquiry, application, or meet-and-greet schedule at our own choice. Submitting an application does NOT constitute a legally binding transfer of animal ownership. Ownership is strictly transferred only upon the signing of a formal, written "PetPals Adoption and Care Contract" signed by both parties.
3. Lifelong Welfare Requirements
By adopting an animal through our program, you agree to:
- Provide a safe, clean, warm, and comfortable household.
- Ensure regular vet checkups, yearly vaccinations, and emergency care when they need it.
- Never surrender, sell, or donate your pet to any testing lab or open-admission public shelter.
4. Absolute Limitation of Liability
While PetPals behaves with extreme professional care to vet, treat, and assess the behavior of all rescue animals, pets are sentient beings with unpredictable behaviors. PetPals is not liable for any physical harm, property damage, or veterinary expenses incurred once the animal is in your care.
